Why choose Food Research products over food-based supplements?
Food-based supplements are USP vitamins and inorganic mineral salts mixed with some food. Read the label. The most common non-food isolates to watch out for are:
* Note while this can come from food, it is still an isolate. Mixing foods with these items, as some companies do, does not change their chemical properties.
At Food Research we use 100% natural food ingredients. Unlike most ‘natural’ supplements, we do not use synthetic fillers, binders, or preservatives. We only use organic brown rice as a binder/filler when required, nothing else. The superior food sources, innovative processing, and meticulous quality control separate us from the rest of the products on the market.
What’s the difference between so-called natural vitamins and Food Research Vitamins?
So-called natural vitamins are also called USP or pharmaceutical grade.
They contain no food. Their sources are most often made of or processed with petroleum derivatives or hydrogenated sugars. They must be taken with the right food for maximum utilization.
Food Research's 100% whole food vitamins can be taken anytime as they constitute a complete food matrix with protein chaperones. They contain no artificial colors, preservatives, binders, fillers, or flavors and no GMOs.
Do you have vegetarian products?
Yes, 34 of the leading products are vegetarian. All of the vitamins and minerals are from vegetarian sources, and they are either wild-crafted or grown hydroponically without GMOs, preservatives, pesticides, fungicides, artificial colors, etc. The fruits and vegetables listed in the products are organically grown at certified organic farms, wild- crafted or grown hydroponically. All cap shells are vegan and the only filler/binders used are pure water or organic brown rice.
Are your manufacturing facilities FDA registered?
Yes, Food Research products are produced and distributed in FDA registered facilities in the USA. Food Research manufacturing facilities have passed independent audits to insure compliance with the highest cGMP* standards. The certified organic and wildcrafted sources are carefully harvested and tested to meet FDA cGMP standards as well as our own high quality standards.
Tablets are monitored for their size, weight, digestibility, water levels, and integrity. Tableting is done at low enough speeds and temperatures to ensure the integrity of the food components, such as enzymes, that the food naturally contains.
Capsules (always vegan) are monitored for their size, weight, digestibility, and water levels. Capsuling is done at low enough speeds and temperatures to ensure the integrity of the food components, such as enzymes, that the foods naturally contain.
Powders are monitored for their weight and water levels. They are processed at low enough temperatures to ensure the integrity of the food components, such as enzymes, that the foods naturally contain.
On average, Food Research supplements are tested 7-9 times to ensure quality.
*cGMP refers to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Is diet important?
Dietary choices are always important. People should eat fewer sweets and avoid hydrogenated fats, refined carbohydrates, and chemically laden foods.
Given the state of the modern diet, however, many people can’t or won’t change their eating habits fast enough or for long enough. There is therefore a real need for 100% food supplements and the superior nutrition they can provide.
What is Subscription Recurring Orders?
Subscription recurring orders allows customers to select a product(s), determine how often they would like that product(s) automatically re-ordered and shipped to them, and manage all subscriptions (ex. adding to an existing subscription, canceling a subscription, changing the frequency of a subscription, etc.)
Customers who create a subscription when they order their Food Research products do not have to worry about returning to buyfoodresearch.com to place a new order once they run out of a product. Instead, customers can determine how often they think they need to re-order a product when creating their subscription, and once that frequency is determined the customer's credit card will be charged and that product will automatically be shipped to them.
